In-house Pensions opportunity
Rare opportunity to move in-house. Offers a varied role working across funding, valuation, governance, strategic projects and de‑risking activity, helping shape the future direction of a major pension scheme while working alongside an experienced actuarial leadership team.
Location: London. 3 days per week in office.
Responsibilities
- Provide funding analysis for the pension scheme.
- Conduct valuations and maintain valuation models.
- Support governance functions and compliance.
- Lead and coordinate strategic projects.
- Engage in de‑risking activity to manage pension liabilities.
- Communicate with stakeholders and present findings.
Qualifications
- Part or qualified pensions actuary (or equivalent). Strong exam‑stoppers will be considered.
- Combination of DB pensions knowledge, project delivery and stakeholder management skills.
- Valuations experience and strong understanding of long‑term funding strategy.
- Exposure to buy‑ins, de‑risking activity or complex pension projects is advantageous.
- Strong communicator capable of engaging effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Ability to hit the ground running and demonstrate project management skills.
