Capital Modelling in the Capital

Are you a qualified (or part-qualified) GI actuary with experience of capital modelling and/or model validation, looking to develop your career within the London Market? Then this is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading-edge firm where you will play a key role in syndicate capital submission / plan reviews, including response to committee challenges, and reviewing the capital position of new and bespoke entrants to the market. In this diverse role, you will also undertake risk-based reviews of syndicate models whilst providing training and oversight of these reviews. In addition, you will be involved in project work and thematic reviews, so previous end-to-end project management experience would be a huge bonus. A knowledge/interest in programming is required including the use of VBA, R and capital modelling tools. Entrepreneurial and a creative thinker, the successful candidate will also be a great team-player and leader with the ability to foster a culture of knowledge-sharing.
