Description The Integrations Specialist role is a critical customer enabler, responsible for assisting in the design and implementation of data delivery mechanisms. Working directly with customers and internal stakeholders, this role acts as our technical expert providing dedicated technical assistance on the inbound and outbound integration and API technology utilized to get payroll processes up and running. This hybrid technical and client‑facing role involves managing the end‑to‑end implementation of integration options, advising on best solutions, and ensuring data integrity.
On a typical day, it looks like this
- Work on the end‑to‑end delivery of new strategic technology partner integration solutions, including analysis, scoping, technical design, testing, roll‑out and documentation.
- Identify change requests for technical development that improve the integration experience or the service, keeping customer experience and satisfaction in mind.
- Collaborate with the development team to design and scope enhancements to integration solutions based on customer and operations team feedback.
To be brilliant in this role, you\’ll
- Be a solutions‑focused IT professional with client‑facing experience (e.g., service desk, applications support).
- Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
- Have knowledge and experience supporting HCM applications (e.g., Workday – a plus, but not essential).
- Understand modern integration technologies, principles and best practices.
- Be experienced in developing process documentation (process flows, user guides, technical requirements).
- Possess strong customer‑service skills and build trusted advisor relationships with clients.
