About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate Community and Content Lead to join our marketing team to elevate our brand’s presence, foster engagement with live event marketers, and build a thriving community around our brand. This role blends content strategy, community collaboration, and thought leadership development to position Activity Stream as the go-to platform for event marketers.

What You’ll Do

Community Engagement & Growth

  • Develop and execute engagement programs with ongoing content creation, webinars, AMAs, and networking events.
  • Build and manage a community of live event marketers through social media, forums, and exclusive groups.
  • Gather insights and feedback from the community to influence product improvements and marketing strategies.

Content Strategy & Execution

  • Create compelling content—including videos, audio recordings/podcasts, blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and social media posts—that educates, inspires, and empowers event marketers.
  • Develop and execute a content calendar that aligns with brand messaging and industry trends.
  • Partner with key industry influencers, clients, and thought leaders to produce collaborative content.
  • Own and optimize content performance through best practices, A/B testing, and data analysis.

Thought Leadership & Brand Positioning

  • Lead the development of proprietary reports, industry insights, and AI-driven marketing tools to position Activity Stream as an innovator in event marketing.
  • Work closely cross-functionally and with leadership to craft speaking engagements, panel discussions, and guest articles.
  • Ensure brand voice remains expert, confident, and storytelling-driven across all channels.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3-5 (or more) years of experience in content marketing, community management, or digital marketing—preferably in SaaS, tech, or live events.
  • A passion for live events and an understanding of the challenges event marketers face.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to create engaging, high-value content.
  • Experience producing, building, and editing video and audio recordings.
  • Ability to analyze content performance and adapt strategy accordingly.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and sales teams.
