This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager who enjoys stepping into complex environments, building strong relationships quickly, and making a visible difference. You'll work at the centre of King's business operations, partnering closely with senior leaders and owning planning and performance across a significant cost base. What You'll Be Doing
- Business Partnering
- Act as the primary finance partner to senior stakeholders
- Provide clear financial insight, challenge and advice to support operational and strategic decisions
- Lead and participate in business partner meetings, translating financial data into clear, actionable narratives
- Manage a complex portfolio, balancing cost control with strategic investment
- Planning, Forecasting & Performance
- Take full ownership of financial planning activities for assigned areas, aligned to company priorities
- Lead preparation and ongoing management of: OpEx, CapEx and headcount plans
- Forecasts and outlooks
- Perform monthly cost and headcount reconciliations, identifying key drivers, risks and opportunities
- Own and evolve L1 reporting, delivering concise, senior-ready analysis, KPIs and commentary
- Act as Finance approver for headcount, invoices and POs, applying strong budget judgement to spending decisions
- Financial Control & Delivery
- Partner closely with Accenture and FinOps teams to ensure smooth PO, invoicing and month-end processes
- Ensure accurate, timely actuals, forecasts and P&L outputs
- Proactively identify and resolve system, data or process issues
- Drive continuous improvement across finance processes and ways of working
- Projects & Added Value
- Support and lead cost initiatives and investment business cases
- Apply strong modelling and presentation skills to influence senior decision-making
- Contribute to wider Finance projects
- Act as a mentor and sounding board for more junior team members
What We're Looking For
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong experience in FP&A and business partnering, ideally in a fast-paced / tech environment
- Comfortable stepping into a role quickly and operating with autonomy
- Proven ability to manage complex cost bases and influence senior stakeholders
- Excellent financial modelling, analysis and communication skills
- Experience working with shared service / outsourced finance teams is a plus
