We’re looking to recruit a motivated, committed and enthusiastic Sports Coach and Head Coach on a part-time basis, working at our holiday camps in Hampshire, West Sussex, and Wiltshire.
Pay: From £12.85 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Lead on the delivery of our Active Holidays programme, including serving lunch and a light snack.
- Manage the setting on a day to day basis.
- Deliver inclusive, high-quality sessions and activities, creating a positive, caring, supportive environment.
- Act professionally in interactions with children, parents, colleagues and schools.
- Safeguard the well-being of children, following organisational policies and procedures.
- Maintain records, ensuring all children are signed in and out of sessions using our online register system.
- Take appropriate steps to identify and overcome barriers to participation.
- Attend professional development where required for the role.
- Be a brand ambassador, demonstrating our company values at all times.
- Participate in training and CPD programme, ensuring your personal development never stops.
- The opportunity for progression in our full-time roles and/or additional part-time employment through our term-time wraparound programmes.
Requirements:
- A passion for working with children.
- Passionate and driven to deliver a world class service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to organise and facilitate high quality sessions & activities.
- Childcare or Primary Education qualification.
- Experience in working within an educational setting.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Holiday Activities & Food programme.
- Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
- Safeguarding Certificate.
- Level 3 Award in Childcare and Education OR Diploma for the Early Years workforce.
- Level 2 Food hygiene certificate.
- Prevent Duty knowledge.
- County Lines knowledge.
Availability: The ideal candidate will need to be available for Summer Holidays.
Operating Hours: 08:30 to 16:15 each day (dependent on holiday camp location).
