Are you the Assistant Team Leader we are looking for in Roosendaal? Join Active Ants and lead our high-tech e-commerce fulfilment operations!
Working week: Monday to Friday (flexible during peaks)
Active Ants is growing rapidly and provides e-commerce fulfilment for more than 100 webshops in Europe. In this role, you act as the right hand of the Team Leader, ensuring our high-tech e-commerce fulfilment process never stops. You take charge of the daily planning and lead a motivated team toward maximum efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and motivate a team of 15–20 warehouse employees.
- Plan, distribute, and coordinate daily tasks and workflows.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and manage pick location replenishment.
- Resolve operational issues and stock discrepancies quickly.
- Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment (5S principles).
Remuneration & Benefits:
- Monthly Salary: From €2,840 gross (based on 40h, excl. 8% holiday pay).
- Travel Allowance: €0.21 per km (max. 25 km one way).
- Holidays: 27 days to recharge.
- Extras: pension scheme, 8% holiday pay, free dinner during evening shifts and an active staff association for fun outings.

Working Hours & Shifts:
- Day shift: 07:00 a.m. – 04:00 p.m.
- Evening shift: 04:00 p.m. – 01:00 a.m.
- Peak periods: Flexibility for weekend shifts or night shifts (23:00 – 08:00) in consultation during busy times.
You will be working in the warehouse department, where you will be responsible for the entire warehouse process together with colleagues and assistant team leaders. You will be involved in order processing, replenishing pick locations, stock management, quality control and supporting the team.
Qualifications:
- MBO level education (or equivalent) and readiness to take responsibility.
- Leadership skills and ability to motivate a warehouse team.
- Experience in logistics or warehouse operations.
- Experience with automated order picking/packing systems is a plus.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
- Comfortable in a multilingual environment (Dutch or English; both is a plus).
