We are recruiting for a Waste Management Operative to help deliver all waste services to homes across the district, including general waste collection, recycling, garden and trade waste, and the glass recycling service. The position will entail working unsociable hours in all weathers. You should be physically fit, able to work alone and unsupervised. Full training, your uniform and PPE will be provided. Experience in a similar environment would be beneficial but is not essential. You will be based at the Council’s Brunel Drive Depot in Newark, and possessing a full driving licence is desirable. Working past the usual finish time is sometimes required to provide a full service to residents. You will work with a professional, committed and experienced team who are passionate about supporting our Community Plan objectives.
