Life at Active Vet Care Summerleaze
Active Vet Care Summerleaze is a 24-hour small animal hospital with a passionate team of vets, nurses, PCAs, and receptionists. Our facilities include all the diagnostic and clinical equipment you would expect in a modern hospital setting, including X-ray, dental X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, and laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery, giving you the tools you need to deliver outstanding care.

Our practice culture is warm, collaborative, and progressive, and as a university partner practice, we offer opportunities for RVNs to teach, mentor, and help develop future veterinary professionals.
Hours & Rota:
Full time, 38 hours across 4 days per week, with 1 in 6 full-day weekend shifts. No night work is required-but there is the opportunity to take on nights and emergency work if desired.
Day-to-day tasks:
Inpatient care, consulting, anaesthesia, and Schedule 3 procedures.
About You
We\’re looking for a dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join our Berkshire team. No two days will be the same, you will:

- Support the outcome of patients\’ care in all aspects of clinical work as part of the team.
- Ensure quality is maintained by keeping our practice in excellent condition – ensuring quality of care and the best possible outcomes for every patient.
