The Role
You will be trained alongside our operatives to eventually be able to complete the following:
- Planning and arranging collections and deliveries - Logistics
- Liaising with customers, carriers, suppliers, shipping lines, port authorities etc. by telephone, email etc
- Obtaining the necessary paperwork, Bill of ladings etc
- Admin / Administration support to all parties
- Data input / Data entry and general admin
Skills and qualities:
- Previous experience in general forwarding/logistics
- Ability to work under pressure (deadlines), independently and within a team
- Attention to detail, competent in Microsoft, Outlook, and ability to learn new procedures
- Be driven and self-motivated
- Be good at admin and prioritising
Our ideal candidate may have experience working:
- As a Freight Forwarder
- In Logistics
- In Airfreight / Road freight
