Active Training Team creates safer workplaces through award-winning immersive training by combining live drama, film, realistic environments and skills coaching to change how people think and behave in high-risk situations. For nearly 20 years we've delivered this work across construction, utilities, transport and energy, at sites, cabins, canteens and conference halls throughout the UK, Europe and the US.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a Head of Delivery to lead the successful delivery of ATT’s mobile and centre-based training programmes, and drive a culture of continuous improvement. You'll lead planning from pre-production through to live delivery for every new programme, project and centre, and hold overall accountability for the Delivery team's performance and standards. You’ll line manage 4 direct reports within a wider team of 12.

Contract Type: Fixed term, up to 18 months
Hours: Full time (will consider part time applications)
Location: Based in Deptford, London SE8 (work from home 1 day per week)
Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities (to include but not limited to)
Operational Delivery
- Oversee the successful delivery of all programmes and sessions, from enquiry through to live delivery, managing the teams responsible for centre and mobile operations
- Own delivery compliance (risk assessments, evacuation policies and emergency procedures) and keep policy and best practice current, recommending improvements to directors
- Act as senior point of contact for service delivery issues, leading monthly client service reviews and internal progress meetings
- Track project budgets with Finance
- Monitor feedback from clients and the freelance cohort
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow and operational documentation across the business
- Monitor overseas training programmes, including the US, where relevant
New Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Lead planning for new programmes, projects and centres from pre-production through to live delivery, including crew recruitment, training and budgets
- Support tender processes, in relation to the health, safety, wellbeing and logistical elements
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors and suppliers
- Work with Creative, Finance, Commercial and Project teams to strengthen cross-departmental processes, and run post-delivery reviews
- Oversee production elements (costume, props, uniforms, equipment) and processes at our centres
People Leadership
- Lead, motivate and develop the Delivery team
- Act as first point of escalation for people management issues
- Review team and individual performance against agreed targets
- Support recruitment for new team members
- Model and champion ATT's values and behaviours across staff and freelancers
Strategic Contribution
- Work alongside senior leaders to support wider business objectives
- Lead initiatives to continuously improve ATT's policies and procedures

Essential
- Experience in training, events, live production or immersive/experiential learning
- Experience managing a multi-disciplinary team
- Confident with budget management
- Experience with compliance documentation (e.g. risk assessments, safety policies) in an operations, events or production setting
- Strong written communication skills, including client-facing or operational documentation
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable
- Experience supporting international/overseas operations
