Job Description
Are you a true team player displaying a positive attitude? This is a multi-task role designed to ensure consistent delivery of excellent customer service throughout the facility. The post holder will undertake various tasks in addition to core responsibilities of providing safe and effective swimming pool supervision, as well as setting up and maintaining equipment for activities and events. Please note, this role is fixed term until 31 March 2026.
Requirements
Essential: National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. Previous experience working with members of the public. Experience of working in a team environment.
Desirable: SVQ level 2 gym instructor qualification. Coaching qualification. Swimming teachers\’ qualification. Experience working in an ice environment or reception environment. Cash handling experience. Operating MRM or other booking systems. Previous experience in a lifeguard/leisure role.
Responsibilities
Supervise poolside and changing areas to ensure each customer has a positive and safe experience of all services, including swimming sessions, club sessions, swimming lessons, and national events.
Prepare all internal and external areas of the Sports Village for use as per set-up booking notes, ensuring customers can utilize the facility correctly and maximize all offerings at the Sports Village.
