In this position your role will be to maintain specialist equipment ensuring it is in pristine condition. This would be a great opportunity for anyone with plant experience or previous mechanics experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm Benefits for the Workshop Technician * 20 days + BH and Christmas shut down * Free onsite parking * Opportunity for progression * Employee assistance scheme (after probation) Role of Workshop Technician * Working on Plant equipment and repairing with light mechanical work * Body alterations and repairs to plant equipment * Inspecting returned equipment to identify damage, wear or faults. * welding * Assembly duties * Carrying out repairs, servicing, refurbishment and general maintenance * Working to daily schedules and prioritising repairs to meet customer deadlines. Experience of the Workshop Technician * Mechanical/hands on experience * Hands on individual with the willingness to get stuck in * Confident using hand and power tools. * Confident working at height * Can do attitude * Previous mechanics experience * Experience working on plant equipment or vehicles (desirable)
