Active Sport Warrington provides fun, inclusive, and high-quality sports activities for children aged 4-11 in Warrington.

Our holiday camps, sport programmes, after-school clubs, and PE support for schools help kids stay active, build confidence, and develop a love for sports.

Job Description

Active Sport is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Multi-Sports Coach to join our team, delivering fun and engaging after-school sports clubs for primary school children in the Warrington area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about sports coaching, child development, and making a positive impact on young athletes.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-energy, engaging multi-sport sessions for primary school children.
  • Ensure all sessions are inclusive, safe, and structured, promoting skill development and confidence.
  • Maintain a fun and positive environment to encourage participation.
  • Safeguard and supervise children at all times.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and school staff.
  • Set up and pack away equipment before and after sessions.
  • Adhere to safeguarding and health & safety policies.

Requirements

  • Minimum Level 1 NGB coaching qualification (Multi-sports, Football, or similar) or be studying/completed a University Degree in Sports.
  • Driving license and access to a vehicle (preferred).
  • DBS checked (or willing to obtain).
  • Experience coaching primary school-aged children.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Passion for sports and child development.
