Full job description

As a Football Coach, you will deliver engaging, high-quality football sessions that develop players technically, physically and socially while creating a fun, safe and positive environment.

The role includes

  • Delivering Evening Player Development Centre (PDC) sessions on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings
  • Delivering Football After School Clubs in primary schools across Warrington
  • Delivering Football Holiday Camps during school holidays
  • Opportunity to coach 1-to-1 and small group sessions
  • Weekend coaching opportunities are available but are completely optional

This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their coaching career with a growing organisation that invests in its staff.

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will

  • Hold a minimum UEFA C Licence
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Have experience coaching children in football
  • Be confident delivering enjoyable, organised and challenging sessions
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be enthusiastic, professional and punctual
  • Be passionate about helping young players develop both on and off the pitch
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle

Desirable

  • FA Safeguarding Children Certificate
  • FA Introduction to First Aid in Football (or Emergency First Aid)
  • Experience delivering in schools or grassroots football
  • Experience working with a wide range of ages and abilities
