The Role
As VP of Operations (UK), you will play a critical leadership role in establishing and optimizing the operational backbone of the business. You will lead cross-functional teams across manufacturing, supply chain, project execution, and health & safety, ensuring excellence in delivery as the company moves into large-scale deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead UK operational strategy and execution, reporting directly to the executive team
- Oversee production ramp-up, including supply chain design, manufacturing scale-up, and quality assurance
- Ensure operational compliance with all safety, regulatory, and environmental standards
- Partner closely with R&D, Engineering, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment of product development and delivery
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and high-performance
- Build and mentor high-performing teams to support rapid scale and complexity
Candidate Profile
- Proven operational leader in clean tech, advanced manufacturing, or industrial engineering
- Strong experience scaling from pilot to full commercial production
- Deep understanding of supply chain strategy, HSE practices, and lean methodologies
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability
- Experience in hydrogen, energy storage, fuel cells, or adjacent sectors is strongly preferred
- Collaborative leadership style with a passion for sustainability and innovation
