Active Recruitment are working closely with a highly regarded mainstream secondary school in Havering, who are seeking a full‑time English Teacher with expertise in delivering the subject across Key Stage 3 and 4. The school is renowned in the local area for its state‑of‑the‑art facilities and exceptional teaching environments. The school is open to considering both experienced teachers as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and would also welcome applications from English Teachers who possess the confidence and capability to teach English as their primary subject.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and stimulating English lessons across key stage 3 and 4.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Be committed to school improvement and to the development of teaching and learning.
• Demonstrate commitment to helping all children & parents succeed and achieve.
• Plan and deliver high‑quality, engaging lessons tailored to students\’ needs.
• Assess and track student progress, implementing effective teaching strategies.
• Be fully committed to safeguarding children.
• Be positive & enthusiastic role models for pupils.
