A well-regarded and supportive school in Redbridge is seeking an experienced and passionate SENCO to join their leadership and inclusion team from September. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified SENCO, Assistant SENCO, or experienced teacher with SEN leadership experience to make a genuine impact within a welcoming and inclusive school environment. The Role:
- Leading and managing SEND provision across the school
- Supporting pupils with EHCPs, autism, ADHD, SEMH and additional needs
- Working closely with teachers, parents, external agencies and SLT
- Monitoring progress and implementing effective intervention strategies
- Ensuring the school remains compliant with SEND legislation and best practice
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- QTS and National Award for SEN Coordination (or working towards)
- Previous experience as a SENCO or within SEND leadership
- Strong understanding of EHCP processes and SEND frameworks
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Passion for inclusion and pupil progress
