Active Recruitment are looking for caretakers to join primary and secondary schools across East London. The schools would like to employ a Caretaker on an initial trial basis with the view to becoming permanent within the first month following a successful trial.
The ideal candidate will have previous relevant maintenance or caretaker experience and be able to work a standard shift pattern but remain flexible where on occasion, shifts may change at short notice to meet business needs.
Hours of Work: 8am – 4p.m or 10am – 6p.m – changeable on a weekly, fortnightly, or monthly basis. 52 weeks per year. Monday to Friday but weekend overtime is also optional although not essential.

The ideal candidate will have previous maintenance or handyman experience and knowledge of Safeguarding and Health & Safety Procedures is required. An Enhanced DBS check will be required for this position. Active Recruitment are able to assist with this.
