Full-time Permanent, Term Time Only (including 5 inset days & 10 additional days per year) Academy Trust in East London. £47k – £53k depending on experience (Pro Rata Salary – £42k – £48k). Active Recruitment is working with an outstanding Academy Trust based in East London. They are looking to appoint a Clerk to the Trust for an ASAP start on a full-time, term time only basis. The Clerk will be accountable to the Chair of the Trust and their line manager.
About the Job
The purpose of the role is to undertake the administrative and clerical work related to the meetings of the whole Governing Body and other committee meetings as may be required.
Requirements
The clerk will be accountable to the Chair of the Trust, Trust board and Local Governing Bodies of the schools/academies. Board and committee meetings take place during the afternoon and Local Governing Body (LGB) meetings usually take place early evening. Attendance is required at all planned meetings; the role is flexible with time off in lieu. Previous experience of education, academies and Clerking to Governors is desirable but not essential.
