Speciality: Learning Disability, Mental Health and Autism (has behaviours of concern, complex care, self- harm and forensic support). We are looking for Support Workers for Adams home in Peacehaven to support him to build his life in the community. You will need to have a passion for empowering people to lead an aspiring life, by using positive behaviour support and work within an integrated and multidisciplinary approach to people's wellbeing. You will be kind, patient, resilient, compassionate, proactive, the role can be tough, but the rewards outweigh. Adam has been discriminated against, faced trauma, and requires staff with empathy to support him on his road to recovery and an aspiring life. This is a real chance to be part of our successful programme of ensuring that everyone with a learning disability or autistic people are supported in their local communities, not in hospital settings.
