Service Type: Adult Complex Care Service
Speciality: Mental Health, Autism, Learning Disability
Our service supports four individuals who require emotional support, learning new coping mechanisms, and the ability to express their true selves. Each requires several hours of 1:1 support during the day and shared support both day and night.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with people who have enduring mental health needs, a keen interest in the psychology behind complex behaviours that challenge, and a willingness to learn and practice Positive Behaviour Support. You will need to be adaptable, flexible, and mature, supporting our people in regaining independence through empowerment, active support, positive risk‑taking, and out‑of‑the‑box thinking.
Some of the individuals you support may self‑harm, have anxiety, or on occasion exhibit behaviours of concern. The role can be demanding, but the rewards outweigh the challenges.
