My client is a well-established construction recruitment business supplying labour and staff across London, and the East Midlands Region. They work with main contractors and subcontractors across interiors, fit-out, civils, and M&E, housing, and specialist trades, with a strong reputation for compliance, reliability, and long-term client relationships.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking to bring in an experienced Senior Construction Recruitment Consultant/Sales Manager to develop and grow accounts and win new business both PSL framework and A-Z business within their established London City branch.
The Role
- Managing and developing a live construction desk
- Business development with contractors, subcontractors, and developers
- Supplying temporary and/or permanent construction staff
- Sourcing, screening, and placing candidates
- Managing client relationships and site requirements
- Ensuring full compliance (Right to Work, CSCS, references, etc.)
- Negotiating rates, margins, and terms
- Working towards realistic billing and activity targets
What Weβre Looking For
- Previous experience as a Senior Construction Recruitment Consultant or Sales Manager (temps, perms, or both)
- Strong understanding of construction roles and site environments
- Confident communicator with clients and candidates
- Self-motivated and commercially aware
- Comfortable with KPIs, targets, and business development
- Professional, organised, and reliable
