Active Pathways is recruiting a passionate, person‐centred male mental health support worker to help people with enduring complex mental health needs lead independent, fulfilling lives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide person‐centred care in a rehabilitation setting.
  • Help residents develop independent living skills and achieve personal goals.
  • Support residents with meaningful daily activities and community engagement.
  • Assist with emotional, social, and practical needs.
  • Work seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team to provide consistent support.
  • Promote independence, self‐confidence and relapse‐prevention strategies.
  • Encourage and support access to education, employment and leisure opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12 months care experience.
  • Experience in a mental health or rehabilitation setting.
  • Experience of supporting individuals living under a legal framework.
  • Confidence in building rapport with residents and the wider team.
  • A strong understanding of person‐centred, quality care.
  • A positive, supportive approach with a focus on recovery and inclusion.

About Brookhaven & The Hamptons

Brookhaven is a 23‐bed mixed‐gender open rehabilitation service for adults aged 18 offering recovery‐focused care and support for enduring mental health needs. The Hamptons is a 14‐bed purpose‐built inpatient rehabilitation hospital supporting men with complex mental health needs in a secure, structured environment. With over 20 years of experience operating in Lancashire and Yorkshire, Active Pathways is committed to delivering recovery‐focused mental health and rehabilitation services for adults aged 18+.
