Mental Health Support Worker – Brook House (Supported Living)
Clayton-le-Woods, Lancashire
Full-Time Day Shifts – 38.5 Hours Per Week
Salary: £13.45 per hour | Equivalent to £26,926 per annum
Shifts: 8am – 9pm, with 1 in 2 weeks off
Active Pathways Ltd is currently recruiting compassionate Support Workers to join Brook House in Clayton-le-Woods, Lancashire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as an integral part of the team, ensuring that the individuals we support can live as independently as possible.
Brook House is a 13-bed supported living service providing person-centred support for individuals with mental health needs, learning disabilities, and/or autism. With 24-hour staffing and a passionate multi-disciplinary team, Brook House helps residents build independence and work towards recovery.

As a Support Worker, you will:
- Support individuals on their journey to recovery through person-centred care in a rehabilitation setting.
- Help residents develop independent living skills and achieve personal goals.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to build positive relationships with residents.
- Provide emotional and practical support to residents.
- Promote engagement in meaningful activities and encourage social inclusion.
- Assist with daily living tasks and support residents in accessing education, employment, and the community.
- Promote independence and self-confidence, helping residents regain control over their lives.
Experience Required:
- Experience within a Mental Health or Rehabilitation setting
- Can build rapport with ease with not only the residents but the wider team
- Understanding the importance of offering person-centered quality care
