Position
Day Support Worker at Millcroft, Seacroft, Leeds.
Compensation and Working Hours
Salary: £13.45 per hour + Overtime (£14.95 per hour). Hours: Full-time, 38.5 hours a week, 7:45am - 7:45pm shifts on a two-week rolling rota: Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday. Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
Requirements
- Right to work in the UK for a minimum of 18 months from your agreed start date. Visa sponsorship not available.
- Experience within a Mental Health or Residental setting.
- Can build rapport with ease with not only the residents but the wider team.
- Understanding the importance of offering person-centred quality care.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals on their journey to recovery through person-centred care in a residential setting.
- Help residents develop independent living skills and achieve personal goals.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to build positive relationships with residents.
- Provide emotional and practical support to residents.
- Promote engagement in meaningful activities and encourage social inclusion.
- Assist with daily living tasks and support residents in accessing education, employment, and the community.
- Promote independence and self-confidence, helping residents regain control over their lives.
