Base pay range
Location: Fernside House, Armley, Leeds
Hours: 38.5 hours per week
Salary: ÂŁ12.60 per hour (annual ÂŁ25,225), plus overtime paid at ÂŁ14.10 per hour
Shift Pattern: 07:45am – 07:45pm, two-week rolling rota
- Week 1: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun
- Week 2: Wed, Thu, Fri

Fernside House will provide a safe and supportive home for men with enduring mental health needs, and we’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to person‑centred, recovery‑focused care.

Responsibilities
- Support individuals on their journey to recovery through person‑centred care in a residential setting.
- Help residents develop independent living skills and achieve personal goals.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to build positive relationships with residents.
- Provide emotional and practical support to residents.
- Promote engagement in meaningful activities and encourage social inclusion.
- Assist with daily living tasks and support residents in accessing education, employment, and the community.
- Promote independence and self‑confidence, helping residents regain control over their lives.
Experience Required
- Experience within a Mental Health or Residential setting
- Can build rapport with ease with not only the residents but the wider team
- Understanding the importance of offering person‑centered quality care
