Base pay range

Mental Health Support Worker – Brook House (Supported Living)
Clayton-le-Woods, Lancashire
Full‑Time Day Shifts – 38.5 hours per week
Salary: £12.60 per hour (≈ £25,225.20 per annum)
Shifts: 8am – 9pm, with one week off every two weeks

Active Pathways Ltd is recruiting compassionate Support Workers to join Brook House in Clayton‑le‑Woods, Lancashire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as an integral part of the team, ensuring that the individuals we support can live as independently as possible.

Brook House is a 13‑bed supported living service providing person‑centred support for individuals with mental health needs, learning disabilities, and/or autism. With 24‑hour staffing and a passionate multi‑disciplinary team, Brook House helps residents build independence and work towards recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Support individuals on their journey to recovery through person‑centred care in a rehabilitation setting.
  • Help residents develop independent living skills and achieve personal goals.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to build positive relationships with residents.
  • Provide emotional and practical support to residents.
  • Promote engagement in meaningful activities and encourage social inclusion.
  • Assist with daily living tasks and support residents in accessing education, employment, and the community.
  • Promote independence and self‑confidence, helping residents regain control over their lives.

Experience Required

  • Experience within a mental health or rehabilitation setting.
  • Ability to build rapport with residents and the wider team.
  • Understanding the importance of offering person‑centred quality care.
