Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of adults with complex mental health needs? Active Pathways is recruiting compassionate Bank Support Workers who have the flexibility to work across Leeds at our Residential and Supported Living mental health services in Seacroft and Armley.

About Our Leeds Services

  • Millcroft: A purpose-built residential rehabilitation service for men with complex and enduring mental health needs. Supporting individuals transitioning from hospital-based care, the service focuses on recovery, risk management, life skills development and progression towards greater independence within a structured and supportive environment.
  • Park Place: An enhanced supported living service for adults with mental health needs. Offering fully furnished apartments and 24-hour support, the service helps people build confidence, develop independent living skills and successfully reintegrate into their communities, with a focus on progressing towards independent living.
  • Fernside House: A residential care home for men who require ongoing support to maintain stability and manage complex mental health needs in the community. The service combines structured support with therapeutic activities, vocational opportunities and skills development, helping individuals maintain their wellbeing while promoting independence and social inclusion.

Working across all three services, you'll be part of dedicated multidisciplinary teams that deliver compassionate, person-centred support and make a meaningful difference to people's recovery journeys every day.

Responsibilities

  • Support individuals on their journey to recovery through person-centred care in a rehabilitation setting.
  • Help residents develop independent living skills and achieve personal goals.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to build positive relationships with residents.
  • Provide emotional and practical support to residents.
  • Promote engagement in meaningful activities and encourage social inclusion.
  • Assist with daily living tasks and support residents in accessing education, employment, and the community.
  • Promote independence and self-confidence, helping residents regain control over their lives.

Experience Required

  • Experience within a Mental Health or Rehabilitation setting.
  • Can build rapport with ease with not only the residents but the wider team.
  • Understanding the importance of offering person-centred quality care.
