Location: Fernside House, Armley, Leeds

Hours: 37.75 hours per week on average

Salary: £14.50 per hour

Shift Pattern: Two-week rolling rota, with every other weekend off

  • Week 1: 5 days, 8:00am – 4:00pm
  • Week 2: 4 days, 8:00am – 6:00pm

Active Pathways is delighted to be recruiting for a passionate Head Housekeeper to join our brand-new residential service, Fernside House, in Armley, Leeds. Fernside House will provide a safe and supportive home for men with enduring mental health needs, and we’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to person-centred, recovery-focused care.

This is an incredibly varied and rewarding role where you will lead by example, ensuring our service maintains the highest cleanliness, hygiene, and catering standards.

Your Role as a Head Housekeeper

  • Supervising and supporting the housekeeping team to create a seamless and efficient service.
  • Ensuring all cleaning and infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe and welcoming home environment.
  • Managing stock levels, placing orders, and conducting monthly stock checks.
  • Creating rotas and carrying out staff supervisions to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Upholding the highest Health and safety standards.
