Base pay range
Regional Facilities and Maintenance Operative
Location: Across Lancashire – covering all six Active Pathways services and Evermore Care Homes sites in Chorley, Bamber Bridge, Fulwood, and Lancaster
Contract Type: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week – Fixed-Term Contract (6 months)
Salary:ÂŁ28,000 per annum / ÂŁ14.36 per hour
Overtime: Enhanced to ÂŁ15.86 per hour once full-time hours have been met

About The Role
As the site lead for operational property management, you will work across our four mental health services and two care homes, ensuring all buildings and grounds are safe, well-maintained, and compliant with regulations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out day-to-day maintenance of communal areas, residential rooms, and grounds
- Conducting operational Health & Safety and Fire Regulation checks
- Managing external contractors when needed
- Maintaining equipment such as heating, plumbing, security systems, laundry machines, and water systems
You will have multi-skilled maintenance experience, including minor electrical, plumbing, and joinery work. Experience with central heating systems and similar environments is ideal. You’ll work independently and as part of a small Facilities and Maintenance team and occasionally travel to support our Yorkshire sites with prior agreement.
