Overview: Active (Pathways) Solutions are recruiting for a substation experienced General Operative to work within a substation environment at Bicker Fen Substation. Rate will increase as job progresses. This is an excellent opportunity to enter the substation industry and develop valuable skills within a growing sector. If the applicant shows they’re committed, reliable, and keen we’ll put them through the National Grid Person authorisation.
This role will be:
- Cleaning Site Welfare & Toilets
- Stock check of cleaning materials & equipment
- Notifying Site Manager when materials are low / skips need emptying etc
- Assisting with deliveries e.g.- Skips, Plant & Equipment – outside of work area
- Storeman – Stock check of items – Stores tidiness & sign out / sign in of power tools
Requirements: Must hold CSCS/CCNSG, any other cards handy. NG Persons ideal but not essential.
