Strategic Leads are a key part of the Active Partners Trust’s workforce and play a key role in enabling the Making our Move plan. Strategic Leads work to connect, collaborate, influence and create a culture where everyone can be active in a way that is right for them. The work is achieved by considering how we better Understand our communities, Enable and influence change and seek Investment.

We are Active Partners Trust (Active Derbyshire and Active Notts) and we’re here to empower people to be active in a way that works for them. We do that by working with others to address inequality and sharing opportunities and ways to move more. We’re part of the network of Active Partnerships covering the whole of England and supported by Sport England. We work with many organisations and groups across our cities and counties to support and empower our communities.

Our Application Process

Our application process is through a third-party application process called Be Applied. It’s a recruitment platform that helps us remove any unconscious bias from our shortlisting process. Once you’ve digested the Job Description you will be asked 4 questions that form your entire application – this is what you’ll be assessed on. We encourage you to make the most of these questions and make your answers personal to you rather than defaulting to AI. Online interviews on Tuesday 14th or Wednesday 15th January, followed by face to face interviews on Friday 24th January in Nottingham if successful.
