What you\’ll be working:
37.5 Hours – Monday to Friday
As Registered Manager you will also be part of the on-call rota and be expected to attend for any emergencies.
The Role:
As the Registered Manager at Hunters Moor, you’ll take full ownership of the service, leading from the front to deliver person-centred, high-quality care in line with CQC standards and Active Neuro’s ambitious vision. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain full regulatory compliance (CQC) and embed governance excellence.
- Ensure people in our care receive tailored, safe, and effective rehabilitation.
- Lead the team in delivering a 24/7 therapeutic culture.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, including families, commissioners, and regulators.
- Drive occupancy through timely assessment and admissions.
- Oversee budgetary and staffing performance to meet financial targets.
- Champion colleague experience, training, recognition, and development.
About you:
We’re looking for a compassionate and commercially astute leader with experience in health and social care management. You’ll be confident in regulatory compliance, service development, and team leadership—ready to inspire others while keeping those in our care at the centre of all decisions. For this role, you’ll need:
- A legal right to work in the UK
- Current NMC Pin Registration (RN)
- Experience at Registered or Deputy Manager level in a CQC-regulated service.
- Clinical and / or leadership experience in the field of neurorehabilitation.
- A relevant Level 5 qualification (or willingness to work towards it).
- Knowledge of safeguarding, MCA, DoLS, and clinical governance.
- Excellent communication, planning, and leadership skills.
- The ability to lead with resilience, integrity, and empathy.
- Those with experience of the private pay market would be highly desirable.
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS.
