We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Class Teacher to join the Primary Phase at Cromwell Community College. This is an opportunity to be part of a school community where high expectations, collaboration and care for every child sit at the heart of what we do. The role is ideal for a teacher who combines strong classroom practice with a genuine commitment to helping pupils thrive, adapting teaching to meet individual needs and creating an environment where children feel supported, challenged and inspired to achieve. As part of the Active Learning Trust, you will be encouraged to develop your practice, embrace new ideas and play an active role in shaping positive experiences and opportunities for children every day.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching within the Primary Phase, planning engaging lessons that follow the curriculum and meet pupils' varying needs.
  • Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress, using assessment effectively to support learning and achievement.
  • Create a safe, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and learning.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support pupils' academic and personal development.
  • Promote safeguarding and wellbeing, contributing positively to the wider life and ethos of the academy and Trust.
