Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, including budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and IAS (International Accounting Standards).
- Manage all aspects of corporate accounting, including general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, cost accounting, and account analysis.
- Conduct risk analysis to identify potential financial vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
- Lead regulatory reporting efforts to ensure compliance with governmental and industry‑specific standards.
- Supervise treasury management activities such as cash flow analysis, investment management, and cost control initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on business development opportunities, strategic planning, and revenue management projects like ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition Standard).
- Oversee financial software systems to streamline processes and enhance reporting accuracy.
- Prepare detailed financial reports for executive leadership, interpret financial data to inform strategic decisions, and communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Ensure adherence to compliance management protocols while maintaining high standards of fiscal integrity across all departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced certifications such as CPA or CFA are highly desirable.
- Extensive experience in financial management roles with a strong background in corporate finance, governmental accounting, non‑profit accounting, or public accounting.
- In‑depth knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, ASC 606 revenue standards, and technical accounting principles such as accrual accounting and cost management.
- Proven expertise in risk management, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts including profit & loss analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, cash flow analysis, and investment management.
- Proficiency with financial software tools and systems for bookkeeping, general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, and balance sheet management.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to guide teams effectively while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills for preparing comprehensive financial reports and interpreting complex data for diverse audiences.
