Active Hospitality is looking for a confident, camera-ready Digital Content Creator to bring Easthampstead Park and Gorse Hill Hotel to life across social media, web and print.
You'll work behind the lens and in front of it, telling the story of both hotels to audiences across Berkshire, Surrey, the South-East and beyond.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a hands-on, fast-paced, office-based role within our marketing team, based at Easthampstead Park.
You'll plan, film, edit and publish visual content, and create collateral and copy for paid advertising campaigns.
You'll work closely with staff at both hotels, so you'll need to be a confident communicator who is as comfortable collaborating as creating.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Content Creation & Copywriting
- Plan, film and edit engaging video, reels, images and photo carousels for Easthampstead Park and Gorse Hill Hotel.
- Write clear, on-brand copy for social posts, paid advertising, web pages and marketing materials.
- Write compelling, search-optimised copy for social media posts, reels, videos and website pages.
- Social Media & Campaign Content
- Manage day-to-day posting and scheduling across You Tube, Tik Tok, Instagram, Facebook, Linked In and Google Business Profiles using the Metricool scheduling tool.
- Create visual assets, collateral and copy for paid campaigns.
- Track organic content performance, using insights to keep improving. Constant Social Media interaction to boost organic engagement.
- Team & Site Collaboration
- Work closely with staff and management at both hotels to source stories, film on location and gather content.
- Although office-based, this role is highly people-facing and requires regular collaboration across both hotel teams.
- Occasionally rostered evening or weekend shifts may be required to capture events and activity.
ABOUT YOU
- Solid, hands-on experience in content creation.
- Strong filming and video editing skills, plus confident copywriting ability.
- MUST be comfortable in front of camera as well as behind.
- Familiarity with AI tools for social media and marketing content creation, such as Chat GPT, Claude, Google Notebook, Gemini & Perplexity would be highly advantageous.
- A working knowledge of SEO and how websites, social media posts and articles rank in search.
- Outgoing, sociable and comfortable talking to staff and guests.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work across busy hotel teams.
- Experience with social scheduling tools such as Metricool is a plus.
- A full UK driving licence, as travel between Easthampstead Park and Gorse Hill Hotel is required.

Salary of £28,000 initially, rising to £30,000 per annum after three-month probation period.
