This full-time role will focus on the strategic development of the male football pathway and County FA competitions across Leicestershire and Rutland. The successful candidate will work closely with leagues, clubs, and key partners to grow participation, enhance playing opportunities, and support the delivery of high-quality competitions.

Location: Holmes Park, Dog and Gun Lane, Whetstone, LE8 6FA (with travel around the county and some home working).

About the Role

The role will also lead on the implementation of new formats such as 3v3 football, while supporting the delivery and growth of County Cup competitions and wider grassroots initiatives. Reporting to the Football Pathways Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the future of the local game.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow the male football pathway across leagues, clubs, and recreational formats.
  • Lead the local delivery of new formats, including 3v3 football.
  • Work with leagues and clubs to support England Football Accreditation and long-term sustainability.
  • Manage and deliver County Cup competitions, including planning and attending finals.
  • Support the sanctioning and development of leagues across the male pathway.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to support grassroots football growth.
  • Deliver initiatives that increase participation and create inclusive playing opportunities.
