About the Role
Brief Description: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and talented individual to join a dedicated and professional team at Somerset Activity and Sports Partnership. The post holder will deliver the outcomes of the Barclays Girls Football Partnership, which aims to:
- Give every girl equal access to football in school through providing opportunities for girls to learn through football in PE lessons
- Participate in girls-only football sessions
- Compete in girls' football fixtures/events
- Lead girls' football activities for others
- Gain opportunities in community clubs and recreational activities
Personal Specification
We are looking for an individual with good knowledge of school sport, community sport, and sports clubs' structures, ideally with experience in planning and coordinating programmes. The successful candidate will be highly organized, with good interpersonal skills. Owing to the nature of this position, any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
