Active Force are looking for a reliable and professional Van Driver to join our team for a client based in Warmley, Bristol. You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of paper, stationery and educational products to schools, colleges and other organisations across the local and surrounding areas. The role offers a great mix of driving and customer-facing work, with no two delivery runs necessarily being the same.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Driving a company van and completing planned delivery runs
  • Delivering paper and educational products to schools and colleges
  • Delivering items such as copy paper, coloured and specialist paper, exercise books, envelopes, stationery and other educational supplies
  • Loading your van and ensuring deliveries are secure before setting off
  • Unloading deliveries at customer sites
  • Taking deliveries into the required area within schools, colleges and other premises where needed
  • Checking deliveries are accurate and in good condition
  • Providing a friendly and professional service to customers
  • Managing your delivery route efficiently and completing your run on time
  • Carrying out basic vehicle checks and keeping the van clean and tidy

Working Hours & Pay:

£13.50 - £15.00 per hour, Monday to Friday, ongoing work, approx. 9-10 hours per day. Start and finish times will depend on the delivery schedule.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Previous van driving or delivery experience is beneficial
  • Comfortable with loading and unloading deliveries
  • Physically fit and comfortable with an active role involving lifting and carrying
  • Good customer service skills
  • Able to work independently and manage your delivery run
  • Must be able to get to Warmley reliably
