Active Flooring Solutions is a well-established commercial flooring contractor delivering projects on construction sites across the UK. We work with main contractors on jobs of all sizes across healthcare, education, custodial, commercial and residential sectors.
We are recruiting a Project Administrator to join our team at our Morley office, supporting our project managers and site teams to keep projects running smoothly from start to finish.
The Role
- Placing orders for materials
- Preparing paperwork and documentation ahead of project start
- Pulling together health and safety information for individual projects
- Assisting with the sub-contract floor layer payment process
- Assisting with the checking of supplier invoices
- Monitoring drawing changes and keeping records up to date
- Answering telephones and dealing with general queries
- Using in-house systems (training provided)
What We're Looking For
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Reliable, proactive, and takes pride in doing a job properly
- Previous administration experience preferred, ideally within the flooring or wider construction industry, but not essential
