I am 21 years old and looking for a support worker to join my team. I undertake a range of activities at home and in the community.
Job Summary: Support a person with cerebral palsy who uses a wheelchair full time. Provide personal care, assistance with eating, therapy, and social/leisure activities. Help communicate and support daily living.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
- Help with eating and drinking, using PEG for feed-ups.
- Support communication aid use and ensure clear communication.
- Facilitate access to hydrotherapy, gym, support group, sporting, musical or theatre events.
- Provide therapy and social leisure activity support.
- Support sleeping night as safety carer.
- Work with support team and team leader.
Qualifications: £17.50 per hour weekends; £12.71 per hour sleeping night shifts.
