You must be a driver for this role. Join Active Care Group’s Care in Mold and receive a £100 welcome bonus after working 3 months! Within the Care in the Home division, we support adults with spinal cord injury, acquired brain injury and complex health needs to live in their own homes. We’d like you to join us as a Support Worker at our client's home based in Mold. This role is to support our female client with a spinal cord injury.

When you’ll be working:

  • Full Time Hours - 3/4 Shifts per week 09:30am - 21:30pm
  • Potential for contracted hours after 3 months

What you’ll be doing:

  • We are looking for a friendly, reliable Support Worker to support our female client, who has a spinal cord injury, in her own home and out in the community.
  • Personal care and administering medication
  • Moving and handling
  • Domestic duties around the home
  • Driving to appointments, shopping trips, and social activities
  • Spending time with a sociable client who loves a good chat, going out, and especially shopping

The client has two dogs, so you must be comfortable around pets.

About You:

  • A driver (automatic licence required)
  • Flexible to work weekends and bank holidays
  • Friendly, sociable, and happy to get involved in community activities
  • Reliable and compassionate
