Are you kind, compassionate, and looking for a part-time to full-time role that truly matters? We're looking for a dedicated Female Support Worker Driver to join our care team in Billingham, supporting a lovely lady with a spinal cord injury in her own home.

I’m chatty, love meeting new people, and have a great sense of humour. I work in the public sector and value good conversation. I encourage my independence, just needing a helping hand from time to time. I would love to be supported by someone who enjoys a good laugh and has a caring nature! I enjoy shopping - shoes and clothes are my thing, I also enjoy being out and about, keeping busy and living life. I have a grown-up family who I see every day. I need a confident driver who will be insured to drive my vehicle, so we can go out and about. I do have therapy appointments; my rehabilitation is important to me.

Your Role – What You’ll Be Doing

  • You’ll be working 1:1 with our client during the afternoon hours and supporting with sleep night shifts.
  • Supporting personal care routines (washing, dressing, toileting).
  • Helping with moving and handling.
  • Assisting with domestic tasks and errands.
  • Driving the client to go shopping and attend appointments.

Morning support is provided by another agency – you'll take over in the afternoons. In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs, working regular weekly shifts to build a consistent, trusted care team. While hours are usually stable, the position is offered on a zero-hours contract as care packages can change.

Shifts Available

Thursday, Friday 1pm till 4pm. Saturday.
