Bank Children’s Support Worker – Term-Time Only, School Hours
Location: Shrewsbury
Hours: Bank only. 8:45am–3:15pm (Term-Time Only) - we are looking for a bank support worker to cover shifts when the regular support workers are off.

We’re looking for a female Children’s Support Worker to provide 1:1 care for a 16-year-old girl in her special needs school setting. You'll be there to offer reassurance, practical support, and kindness.
Meet Our Client
Our client is a lovely, bright young girl who uses a wheelchair and requires support with her gastrostomy, insulin, and communication needs. She attends a specialist school where your presence will be essential in helping her access learning, stay safe, and enjoy her day-to-day school life.
Your Working Pattern
This is a bank position, to cover shifts when the regular support workers are off. Weekdays only - 8:45am–3:15pm Term-time only.
Your Role Will Include:
- Providing 1:1 support during school hours
- Assisting with medical needs including gastrostomy care and insulin administration
- Supporting communication and promoting inclusion in school activities
- Working alongside the school team to ensure a safe, fun, and engaging environment
Full clinical training will be provided—you don’t need previous medical experience, just the right attitude and commitment.
