We are extremely proud to offer very distinct and specialised case management services for adults and children recovering from an acquired / traumatic brain injury, spinal or catastrophic injuries and associated disabilities or conditions.
We are recruiting for a Paediatric Rehabilitation Support Worker to support a delightful young 7-year-old client in Wynyard area, who has multi-sensory impairments, cerebral palsy, and learning difficulties due to an acquired brain injury from birth.
About the role:
Our delightful young 7-year-old client loves Spiderman, play fighting, running around, and spending time with his family and pet dog. Our client can demonstrate some challenging behaviours and needs assistance to manage these.
He needs assistance with all aspects of personal cares and dressing, maintaining his safety needs in and out of the house, and requires support to access rehabilitation and social / recreational activities.
What you\’ll be working:
- Part time positions available.
- Before and after school hours, additional hours in school holidays and some weekends.
Salary: £14.00 – £16.00 per hour
What you\’ll have:
- We are seeking kind, patient staff with excellent communication skills and a desire to provide individualised support.
- Previous care experience with children is preferred.
- Driver with full UK Licence essential as part of your role will be to escort our client and his sibling to and from school and rehabilitation sessions.
- This role will be subject to a full enhanced DBS certificate check.
The successful applicants will receive full training for this role, input from therapists and regular supervision by the Case Manager.
Please note we are NOT able to offer sponsorship for this role and therefore will not be able to progress any candidates who require a certificate of sponsorship to work in the UK.
