Kingly House is a 17-bed residential service in Hinckley, Leicestershire, that provides rehabilitation support to adults with an acquired brain injury or neurological condition. Our highly trained team enables residents to develop skills, gain independence, and achieve personal goals at their own pace and in ways that suit them.

We create holistic care support plans that are tailored to each resident’s needs which are identified during physical, cognitive, functional, and vocational assessments, as well as behavioural management assessments. By combining a therapeutic approach to recovery with a nurturing environment, residents are enabled to achieve realistic outcomes while being supported to lead a healthy lifestyle and maintain a positive mental wellbeing.

Our team are seeking a dedicated Therapy Technician to support therapy delivery across the site. This role offers an opportunity to work as part of a skilled and experienced multidisciplinary team, providing personalised care and support to help service users achieve their rehabilitation goals.

What you'll be working: This role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

What you'll be doing:

  • Assist therapists in delivering tailored therapy programs
  • Undertake assessments and treatments for residents who have been screened by a therapist and deemed appropriate for Technician intervention
  • Take responsibility for a caseload of residents, assessing, devising and implementing treatment programs
  • Lead or facilitate one-to-one and group therapy sessions
  • Monitor, record, and report on service user progress
  • Help with therapy equipment setup and maintenance
  • Encourage client engagement and participation in therapy activities
  • Keep people safe from harm and protect their human rights

What you'll have:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare, therapy, or rehabilitation setting is essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A compassionate and proactive approach to patient care
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
