Do you enjoy live-in care, working a 2–4 week assignment followed by a break? Would you like a genuinely rewarding role, supporting one client one-to-one in their own home? Join Active Care Group, one of the UK’s largest and leading providers of complex care. Within our Care in the Home division, we support clients with spinal cord injuries to live independently and with dignity in their own homes. We are currently looking for compassionate Live-In Support Workers to join our growing team.

Where you’ll be working:

  • We support clients across the South West and South of England, including: Dorset, Hampshire, Southampton, Plymouth, Devon and Cornwall.
  • As a live-in support worker, you must be willing to travel across the south of the UK for assignments.

When you’ll be working:

  • Assignments between 2–4 weeks long.
  • Regular consistent work with set rolling rotas – minimum 2 weeks on.
  • You must commit to working regularly each month to enable continuity of care for our clients.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Our clients have either a spinal cord injury, neurological and acquired brain injury.
  • You will move into the client’s home and support them with personal care (including washing, dressing and toileting), moving and handling, domestic tasks and social activities.
  • No experience required as full specialist training is provided.

What you’ll have:

  • Kind and caring nature.
  • Flexibility & reliability – continuity of care is imperative for our clients.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence (desirable).
