We\’d like you to join us as a Support Worker to care for our two children\’s care packages in Romford/Rainham Essex.

What you\’ll be doing:

You will be supporting two children’s packages of care in Romford and Rainham, Essex, providing care to children with additional health needs within their family homes.

One client is a 16-year-old male with low muscle tone who has a gastrostomy tube and requires the use of a suction machine. He is mobile but can be unsteady on his feet at times. He is highly independent, communicates his needs clearly, and enjoys activities such as playing on his PlayStation and iPad, gaming, using his swing set, and swimming during the summer. (15.00-19.00 & 09.00-14.00)

The second client is a young female with a breathing condition (CCHS) who uses a BiPAP machine to support her breathing. She is mobile, moves independently, and communicates well. This role also involves supporting her with clinical care; full training will be provided. (Nights 22.00-07.00)

Shifts:

  • Afternoons: Weds, Thurs 15.00-19.00 & Sat 09.00-14.00
  • 2-3 Nights a week 22.00-07.00
  • Plus additional cover will be available to cover for other Support Workers annual leave/sickness.
