We're looking for compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team, supporting children with complex health and care needs in their family homes across Hailsham, Eastbourne and Pevensey.

As a Children's Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in helping children and young people live fulfilling lives, both at home and in their local communities.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing person‑centred support to children and young people with a range of needs, including:
    • Complex clinical needs
    • Autism
    • Epilepsy
    • ADHD
    • Behaviours that may challenge
  • Supporting children in their family homes
  • Assisting with daily routines and activities
  • Encouraging independence and social engagement
  • Accompanying children on community outings and activities
  • Building positive relationships with children and their families

This role offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference while working as part of a dedicated and supportive team.

Shifts Available

We are looking for candidates who can offer flexibility across weekdays and weekends. Typical shifts include:

  • Weekday evenings: 3:30pm–6:30pm or 4:00pm–8:00pm
  • Occasional weekday mornings: 6:30am–8:00am
  • Occasional Saturdays: 8:30am–5:30pm or 9:30am–6:00pm
  • Occasional Sundays: 10:00am–4:00pm

Monthly rotas are provided in advance, giving you visibility of your shifts well ahead of time. While this role is offered on a zero‑hours contract, it typically involves regular weekly shifts, allowing you to build consistent relationships with the children and families you support.
